The VCU Online MBA program offers the same faculty and core curriculum as the VCU Evening MBA, but with the added benefit of being offered in a convenient online format. Furthermore, being based in Richmond’s vibrant urban landscape, the VCU Online MBA program has the advantage of being synonymous with VCU’s long-established, extensive professional network. The VCU MBA programs is accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency. Being AACSB-accredited means a business school is able to continuously pass a strict set of standards that ensure quality. Less than 5% of the more than 13,000 business schools in the world have earned AACSB accreditation.
The VCU Online MBA is a 2-year cohort based program consisting of twelve 3-credit courses, six 1-credit courses, and three residency weekends, also 1-credit each.
The format is both synchronous and asynchronous – offering a synchronous evening video conference one night a week, in addition to online content.
