From 1965 to 1967, Dr. Trani was Instructor in History at The Ohio State University in Columbus. His teaching responsibilities included the American history survey course and a course on the Atlantic Community. He spent the summers of 1965 and 1966 working as an Historical Researcher at the United States Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C.
