Spring registration instructions

Undergraduate students register in accordance with earned hours. To determine your registration time, log into eServices and locate your earned hours on your undergraduate transcript where it says ”Transcript Totals (Undergraduate) Earned Hours/Overall.”

Registration begins at 8 a.m. on each date.

Commencement basics

December Commencement will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, in the E.J. Wade Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center.

All candidates should plan to arrive by 9 a.m., using the Harrison Street entrance.

Students who plan to attend must RSVP by Dec. 6. For more information, please email univevents@vcu.edu.

Parking

Parking is available, free of charge, at the VCU parking decks located at 1111 W. Broad St. and 609 Bowe St.

Caps and gowns

Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods, which are available for purchase from the Barnes & Noble @ VCU on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. You may also order your regalia online at oakhalli.com/college/vcu.

Guest seating

The Siegel Center doors will be opened for guests at 9 a.m. Tickets are not required and there is no reserved seating. Note that tickets may be required for departmental ceremonies; please check with your department.

The Siegel Center strictly prohibits certain items including alcohol, backpacks and outside food. View a full list of prohibited items.
