Enrollment Menu Screen Messages
Screen messages (either procedural or error) are returned for most commands chosen. Messages for the Enrollment Menu are provided below. A printable PDF file is available for your use.
The screen messages are organized in alphabetical order by the first letter in the message. Select a letter of the alphabet to go to messages starting with that letter.
AT LEAST 3 CHARACTERS OF NAME REQUIRED
Enter at least
three characters of the name.
CASE ID ALREADY ON FILE
You cannot add the Case ID
as it is already on file. Change selection to Inquiry or Change, or enter
a new Case ID.
CASE ID NOT ALLOWED
You cannot enter the Case ID for
the functions selected. See the field definitions for explanation of use
of
Case ID on this screen.
CASE ID NOT ON FILE
The Case ID entered is not
found on the file. Correct the Case ID or change the function to Add.
CHOOSE
ENTER TO CONTINUE
Choose Enter to continue processing.
DATE OF BIRTH NOT ALLOWED
You cannot
enter the date of birth for the functions selected. Erase the field entirely
and proceed.
ENROLLEE ID ALREADY ON FILE
You cannot add the Enrollee
ID as it is already on file. Change selection to Inquiry or Change,
or enter
a
new Enrollee
ID.
ENROLLEE ID NOT ON FILE
The Enrollee ID entered is not
found on the file. Correct the Enrollee ID or change the function
to Add.
ENROLLEE ID ON FILE AS AN ASSOCIATED ID; NO UPDATES
ARE ALLOWED
Change selection to Inquiry and access the record to find
the permanent ID.
Updates can be
made to the permanent enrollee ID only.
ENTER SELECTION
AND FUNCTION
Enter a Select code and a Function code and enter the required
item information.
ENTER SELECTION
Enter a Select code 1, 2 or 3.
FIRST NAME NOT ALLOWED
First name is not allowed
for the Select Type and Function chosen.
FIRST NAME REQUIRED
First name is required for the Select Type and Function
chosen.
FUNCTION NOT ALLOWED
The PF Key chosen cannot complete
the task. Choose another Function Key.
INVALID CASE ID
Enter a valid Case
ID. See the field definitions for explanation of Case ID formatting and
requirements.
INVALID DATE OF BIRTH
Enter a valid Date of Birth. See
the field definitions for explanation of field formatting and requirements.

ENROLLEE ID
Enter a valid Enrollee ID. See the field definitions for
explanation of Enrollee ID formatting and requirements.
INVALID MIDDLE INITIAL
Enter a valid middle initial. See

LAST 6 DIGITS OF SSN MUST BE A VALID
DATE NOT GREATER THAN CURRENT DATE
If you are entering a pseudo SSN when
the SSN is unavailable (e.g. for
newborn), the last 6 digits must be a valid date (MMDDYY) less than the
current date.
LAST DIGIT OF CASE ID NOT ALLOWED FOR ADD TRANSACTION
Leave
the last digit of the Case ID blank. The system will generate the last digit
when case add
is completed.
LAST DIGIT OF ENROLLEE ID NOT ALLOWED FOR ADD TRANSACTION
Leave
the last digit of the Enrollee ID blank. The system will generate the last
digit when
Enrollee add is completed.
LAST NAME AND FIRST NAME REQUIRED
Enter both the
last name and first name for this function.
LAST NAME NOT ALLOWED
Last
name is not allowed for the Select Type and Function chosen.
LAST NAME REQUIRED
Last name is required for the Select
Type and Function chosen.
MATCHING ENROLLEE ID/CASE ID
Case ID and Enrollee
ID cannot match. Correct the Enrollee ID or Case ID.
MIDDLE INITIAL NOT
ALLOWED
Middle initial is not allowed for the Select Type and Function
chosen. Erase the field.
NEW TDO INDICATOR NOT ALLOWED
Cannot select New
TDO Yes/No indicator for the Select Type and Function chosen.
NO DIGITS ALLOWED
AFTER "976" FOR AN ADD TRANSACTION
Erase all
digits beyond 976 to proceed with the add transaction.
NO RECORDS MEETING
SEARCH CRITERIA
Information message. No action needed.
PHONE NUMBER NOT ALLOWED
Phone number
is not allowed for the Select Type and Function chosen. Erase the field.
POSSIBLE
DUPLICATE FOUND ON FILE
Change the Function to Inquiry and research the
possible duplicate before proceeding.
REISSUE REASON NOT ALLOWED
Reissue
reason is not allowed for the Select Type and Function chosen. Erase the
field.

Change the selection choices or the Function. See the field definitions
for allowable selection combinations.
