Announcing!

Aged, Blind and Disabled Resources is a self-paced, online resource designed for ABD Medicaid workers and supervisors. The focus for this project is to provide a quickly accessible aid to help evaluate ABD resources and determine correct countable values. The goal is to help eliminate initial resource evaluation errors, identify those that may already exist in any given case, and help to assure that all ABD Medicaid applicants/recipients receive efficient services.

After completion of all the individual modules, you will be able to:

• Evaluate any countable value related to home property
• Understand what a reasonable effort to sell propery is and its affect on any countable value
• Evalute jointly owned property
• Understand and evaluate annuities
• Determine eligibility as it relates to life estates
• Understand and correctly evaluate trusts
