Submission Guidelines

VIJ welcomes submissions of essays and edited texts of interest to scholars of Victorian literature, history, culture, and art.

Manuscript Submissions:

An electronic copy as a Word attachment should be sent to the Editor at VIJ@email.uky.edu.

VIJ no longer requires paper copies; the mail address for correspondence that cannot be handled via email is:

Please follow MLA manuscript style.

Editorial report usually follows within four months, and authors should feel free to inquire outside that span. In fairness to our volunteer referees, we request that manuscripts not be submitted simultaneously to VIJ and another journal. Submission or resubmission to VIJ will be taken as a good faith promise that the journal will have exclusive consideration of the work for a reasonable time.
