The RSVP “is a small and collegial organization dedicated to the exploration, teaching, and scholarly use of newspapers, journals, and other periodicals published during the ‘long’ nineteenth-century (1790-1910), and especially those from the Victorian era (1838-1901).”  RSVP publishes Victorian Periodicals Review.

The VSA is “the only national non-profit organization committed to historic preservation, protection, understanding, education, and enjoyment of our nineteenth century heritage.”  Its journal, 19th Century, “is devoted to the cultural and social history of the United States during the Victorian era.”
