Abuse
and Neglect of Children with Disabilities
Overview
This one-year training effort is directed toward increasing awareness
and skills of health professionals in preventing and responding to the
abuse and neglect of children with disabilities. By partnering with four
other state UCEs, a national teleconference will be produced and delivered
in spring 2002. (Funding for this initiative is provided by the Maternal
and Child Health Bureau of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.)
