Rally at VCU kicks-off GOB campaign
The Siegel Center was rocking Sept. 2 with marching bands, cheerleaders, dance teams and VCU mascots, all part of a pep rally to kick off a statewide campaign for November's ballot issues on the general obligation bonds for higher education, museums and state parks and natural areas.   read more>>

VCU School of Social Work moves master's program in Northern Virginia
Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Social Work program in Northern Virginia has a new home, after leaving George Mason University's campus earlier this month. Now located in Alexandria, 10 minutes from its former home in Arlington, the master's program has its own building for the first time in its 23-year history.   read more>>

President Eugene P. Trani publishes new book
"The First Cold War: The Legacy of Woodrow Wilson in U.S.-Soviet Relations," by President Eugene P. Trani and his colleague, Dr. Donald E. Davis, professor of history at Illinois State University, was published this summer by the University of Missouri Press. A Russian-language version is due out soon by Olma Press in Moscow.   read more>>
