Prospective Tutors/SI Leaders

Tutors and Supplemental Instruction Leaders are a very important part of the Campus Learning Center team.

Tutors are required to have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and 40 credit hours. Tutors/SI Leaders work approximately 10 to 15 hours per week at a starting rate of $9 per hour.

Tutors and Supplemental Instruction leaders are hired at the start of every semester. Hiring is based on specific course needs for the semester. Interested students can apply at any time, but those applications submitted at least two weeks before the start of the semester will be given priority.

If you you are interested in becoming a tutor or SI leader, download the application or contact the Campus Learning Center at (804) 827-8108 or e-mail clc@vcu.edu.
