Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a peer-assisted study session. Created at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, SI was designed to assist students in courses that had proven to be difficult. SI leaders are students who have previously taken the courses, and who attend the current class, take notes, read the text and conduct three SI sessions each week. These sessions are open to all students in the class.
FAQs Do I have to enroll in Supplemental Instruction?No, attendance is voluntary. The weekly sessions are open to anyone enrolled in the course. Attend the sessions that fit your schedule.
