Personal Résumé

A résumé is a summary of your skills and interests to introduce you to potential employers, college programs, or internships. The purpose of a resume is to get you to the next step: an in-person interview. It includes a brief description of you: how you are unique in personality, accomplishments and interests, among other things. A resume describes:

Your education:
List schools and expected or achieved diplomas.
Your experience:
List your jobs, including the company name, address, contact person and dates employed. You may also want to include service learning or volunteer activities.
Your Hobbies and Interests:
List clubs or activities that show your interests and abilities.
