Founded in 2002, Max’s Positive Vibe Cafe, a 501c3 charity, provides hands-on training and meaningful employment in food services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

Training sessions typically run four weeks and culminate with a graduation ceremony. Class time is spent doing hands-on activities and demonstrations following a comprehensive food-service curriculum. Students also complete restaurant internships which give them the opportunity to see how a full-service restaurant runs. By the end of the four weeks the students are prepared to take their final exam.
