Technology Tuesdays
Our popular Technology Tuesday sessions continue for each Tuesday. Come learn some creative uses of technology that can be used with all students.

- October 6 - Supporting Writing through AT - This session will focus on the components of writing and AT solutions to address writing challenges for students with mild to moderate needs.
- November 3 - Supporting Math with AT - This workshop will focus on AT supports for a hands-on learning approach in math, which enhances retention and addresses conceptual knowledge.
- January 12 - AT Solutions on Demand - This session will cover the use of portable applications that can be loaded on a USB flash drive and used on multiple computers without installation. Participants will be given a loaded USB drive.
- February 2 - Making Books Come to Life - Come learn and share low to high tech strategies for making books come to life with young children. Make a digital book and an animated song!
- February 16 - Supporting Improved Transition Outcomes through AT - This session will focus on the use of AT with middle and high school students transitioning to post secondary placements in educational or community based settings.
- March 2 - AAC - Supporting Communication with AT (Part 1- Learn the basic elements of communication; how to assess the form and function of your students’ communication; and how to design low tech AAC tools.
- March 16 - Supporting Reading with Assistive Technology - This session will focus on AT solutions that support students in building reading skills and scaffold their engagement in reading in the content areas.
- April 12 - Supporting Communication with AT (Part 2) - Taking the Mystery Out of High Tech AAC - Come explore the features of high tech AAC devices and learn how to match features to the students’ needs. This is a hands-on exploratory session targeting students of all ages.
