Katherine Wittig’s primary interests are secondary transition for students with disabilities, and in particular, school-to-work and school-to- adult life curricula. As a Program Specialist with the Training and Technical Assistance Center at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU T/TAC), Ms. Wittig works with school systems located in Superintendent’s Regions 1 and 8. She also collaborates with adult agencies such as the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services, the Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (VCU-RRTC) to enhance successful transition outcomes for students with disabilities.
