Text Box: The symposium will be held simultaneously at three sites:
 One will be located at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, USA;
 The second site will be located at University of Cyprus, in Nicosia, Cyprus;
 The third site will be located at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, in Lima, Peru.
The symposium sites will be connected through video-conference equipment for simultaneous broadcast of the sessions.  Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Cyprus, and Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, have Internet connectivity through the United States, European and South American international backbone networks. This will allow us to interact with our distance learning technology using Internet-based videoconferencing systems. This will allow real-time audio and video communication between the three locations.
The program has been tailored taking into account the time zones for the three sites:
 North America (Richmond, VA): - 5:00 GMT
South America (Lima, Peru): - 6:00 GMT
Europe (Nicosia, Cyprus): + 2:00 GMT
The features of the symposium are as follows:
The plenary / global sessions (that will be broadcast live to the three sites) are scheduled for the morning in North America (NA) and South America (SA) and for the afternoon in Europe (EU).
The parallel sessions of regional interest and the workshops are scheduled for the afternoon in North and South America, and for the morning in Europe.
Poster sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday at the NA site.
Exhibitors are scheduled for Thursday, June 1 2006,  14:00 - 17:00, and Friday, June 2 2006, 14:00 - 17:00, for the NA site.
