Joint
North American, Southern Europe, South American Symposium:
"Science and Technology Literacy in the 21st Century",
to be held on May 31 - June 4 2006,
invites you to submit proposals dealing with successful practices
and research to improve science and technology education. All
proposals must be submitted electronically, either via the Web or
e-mail and will be subject to peer review. Proposals with
incomplete information will not be accepted.

Submission
and Presentation details

Authors are
required to submit a form (Proposal Submission Form) detailed
below. Within the form you are required to provide a title for
the presentation, an abstract and an extended abstract.
All proposals should be submitted in English. The abstracts
will be peer reviewed, and the authors notified of the
acceptance shortly after submission.

The authors whose
proposals will be accepted for presentation will be invited to
submit a full paper with 2000-5000 words in length, including
the bibliography and abstract. The papers must be submitted in
journal form following the conference's Guidelines for
Authors. The full papers will be published on a CD and
made available to all registered participants who paid full
registration. A maximum of 20 papers will be selected and
published in journal form as Selected
Papers of the Conference. The journal will be
distributed to all registered participants.

The Regular
presentation type will be theater style seating for 15 or
25-minute presentations. Multimedia presentation systems will
be available.

Poster Session
presentations will be exhibit booth setups. Poster Session
presenters are required to provide their own computers and
multimedia equipment, display materials and handouts. Internet
access will be available. Please be certain to indicate on the
proposal form below if you require internet access.
