SPORTSCENTER WELCOMES NEW STAFF MEMBER

The SportsCenter is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Nathan Tomasini to the SportsCenter staff. Nathan and joined the staff in August and his impact on the students and staff is already being felt.
 Nathan, the SportsCenter’s new Associate Director for Academic Affairs, comes to VCU after four years at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His main responsibilities at North Carolina included the development and oversight of a successful undergraduate and graduate Sports Administration program. Additionally, Nathan has conducted market research, sponsorship valuation, and economic impact studies for intercollegiate athletic departments and professional sport organizations. His teaching specialties involve Business and Marketing, both of which he will teach at the SportsCenter. Nathan obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees at California State University – Sacramento (Business Administration and Sport Performance, respectively) and he holds a Ph.D. in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
