Duties:
The SGA president presides over all Student Government meetings and serves as a link between the administration and the students. The President serves as a member of the University Council and the Alumni Association. The President also is responsible for making necessary committee appointments subject to the approval of the Executive Board and thereafter the Student Government Association.
Vice President - Social
Duties:
The Vice President(s) in charge of social functions is(are) responsible for all SGA social functions in that he/she(they) will serve as chairperson(s) of the social committee and organize any MCV-SGA-sponsored events. Such events include, but are not limited to, the Back-to School social, Halloween Dance, Winter Ball, End-of-Year social, and other MCV Campus socials as approved by SGA.

Vice President - Student Life
Duties:
The Vice President of Student Life is responsible for overseeing all issues related to the quality of student life on the MCV Campus including, but not limited to, issues in: parking and transportation, dining, activities, recreational sports, library and VCU police.
Vice President - Philanthropy
Duties:
Vice-President of Philanthropy shall: (1) Serve as member of the MCV SGA Executive Committee. (2) Work with all members of the SGA in order to develop SGA supported events into philanthropic endeavors benefiting Greater Richmond charitable organizations. (3) Keep records of all resources, community services rendered, and money developed for philanthropic purposes. (4) Report to the SGA General Assembly all relevant information pertaining to the philanthropic endeavors of the SGA.

Duties:
It is the duty of the SGA Secretary to maintain and appropriately file an accurate record of all Student Government and Student Body meetings, while also notifying each Association member of these upcoming meetings. The Secretary is also responsible for providing Association members with access to minutes from previous meetings as well as agendas for initiated meetings. The Secretary is to maintain an active list of all Association members and ensure distribution of SGA information to the Student Body.
