Council Providers Families

The Infant & Toddler Connection of Richmond is one of forty local early intervention systems in Virginia.  Together, these local systems form the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia, the Commonwealth of Virginia's statewide early intervention system for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.

Each local early intervention system is responsible for:

  • Identifying infants and toddlers (0-36 months old) who are eligible for early intervention services;
  • Promoting awareness of early intervention services and supports within their communities; and
  • Coordinating and providing services and supports in natural settings for eligible children and families.

The Infant & Toddler Connection of Richmond can arrange a developmental screening or evaluation at no cost to families and connect them with professionals who provide ongoing services and supports to children and their caregivers.

For more information, please feel free to contact us at (804) 828-2742.
