Liability
Who is covered: The University, its departments,
institutions, boards, officers, employees, students and agents while
acting within the scope of their assigned duties under the direction
of the University.
What is covered: Wrongful acts or omissions for which any
insured is found to be legally liable.
Limits of Liability:
$2,000,000 for claims against persons
$100,000 for claims against the state
If an incident occurs:
- complete an incident
report including all pertinent information.
- send a copy of the report to VCU Risk Management at (804) 828-8510 (fax)
or P.O. Box 843040.
- make no statement as to liability or who is at fault.
