Strategic Planning at VCU
Recent events and trends in higher education (deep
budget cuts and increased calls for accountability, for example)
serve to remind us that no university can be all things to all people,
and that critical choices must be made by any university that aspires
to achieve or maintain genuine excellence. Universities, and the
environments in which they function, are undergoing rapid change
at present--and Virginia Commonwealth University is experiencing
the full impact of this change.
