t-DPT Admission requirements

Applicants to the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program must have at least one year of full-time clinical experience. Candidates also must have a current license to practice physical therapy in the U.S. They must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy program in the U.S. and must hold a post-baccalaureate certificate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical therapy.

In addition, we will consider applications from foreign-trained physical therapists if all other admission criteria are met and if credentials have been evaluated by the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy and found to be equivalent to those required of physical therapists educated in the U.S.
