J. R andall ThomasThe Psychiatry Residency includes intensive outpatient training through several carefully supervised and educationally complementary programs:

  • Focused Assessment Clinics
  • General Psychiatry Clinics
  • Subspecialty Psychiatry Clinics
  • Psychotherapy Training Program
  • Community Psychiatry Rotations
  • Elective Rotations
Through rotations in each of these areas, residents acquire advanced skills in outpatient diagnosis, individual and family assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up care. Clinic experience is offered in the following facilities:

Community Psychiatry Rotation (PGY-4)

This rotation is an intensive, multi-disciplinary experience under the direct supervision of two full-time psychiatrists, and in collaboration with staff from a variety of clinical services.
