Psychiatry residents at the Virginia Commonwealth University
Health System are a diverse, eclectic and stimulating group.
They include newly graduated students from a broad range
of U.S. medical schools, outstanding graduates from select
overseas schools and a significant number of people with
extensive prior careers in other medical specialties, in
research and other relevant fields. This makes working and
learning at VCUHS an enriching and broadening experience;
our residents often learn as much from each other as from
faculty and patients. Here are some of their stories.
