eVA Purchasing and Banner Receiving

This hands-on introductory session of the automated eVA Procurement System is directed towards personnel who create orders and/or complete receiving reports. The three-hour training will cover creating an order in eVA, approvals in eVA, receiving in Banner, and discuss some of the procedural changes that will occur through the transition from FRS to eVA and Banner in relation to Procurement & Payment. Advanced eVA and Banner Purchasing

This hands-on advanced session of the eVA Procurement System is directed towards personnel who create orders, complete receiving reports and research payments. The three-hour training will cover catalog searches, punch-out catalog ordering and the explore report options in eVA. Procurement & Payment Policies Training

The Procurement & Payment Policies Training session is an introductory class on purchasing and accounts payable policies and procedures. This training serves as a good refresher course for the experienced departmental purchasing coordinator or fiscal administrator. It should be required for new employees involved in the purchase of goods and services. (Participants are asked to arrive at 8:45 a.m.) For additional information and class registration, go to: http://www.pubinfo.vcu.edu/training/. Corporate Charge Cards

The Corporate Charge Card Training is offered as a web based course designed to give an overview of the Corporate Travel Card and the Corporate Purchasing Card policies and procedures. You must complete the mandatory web-based training and test in order to apply for the card. The test generates a certificate once a score of 100% is obtained. Go to Corporate Travel Card and Corporate Purchase Card Training and Test to complete the training and the tests. The average time for the training and test is less than 30 minutes each. Manual Travel Training

Accounts Payable and Support Services provides a class that gives instructions to departments on completing the manual travel authorization form and the travel reimbursement expense voucher, as well as, the related policies and procedures. Next scroll to the appropriate class and follow the instructions to register.

Contract Administration Class

University Purchasing offers a two hour contract administration overview class. Individuals who administer contracts, particularly complex term contracts valued at $500,000 or more, are encouraged to attend this session. The class is offered on an as needed basis.
