Student scholarships
There are four types of scholarships available to VCU students through Phi Kappa Phi:
- Phi Kappa Phi National Fellowship Award Nomination and the Lauren A Woods Graduate ScholarshipGraduate Scholarship of $3,000 given to the individual chosen by the awards selection committee and nominated by the VCU chapter for the Phi Kappa Phi National Fellowship Award.
- VCU Graduate School Scholarships – $2,500 scholarships awarded to master and doctoral degree candidates chosen by their academic units.
- Wayne C. Hall Scholarship – $3,000 scholarship given to a rising senior chosen by the awards selection committee.
- Susan E. Kennedy Scholarship – $3,000 scholarship given to a graduate student chosen by the awards selection committee.
In addition to these, each academic unit usually gives a scholarship ($500 minimum) in the name of Phi Kappa Phi to students of their own choosing in their units.
