Why should you join Phi Kappa Phi?

There are several reasons to join. None, though, is more important than this: membership recognizes and rewards academic success. At initiation, members receive gold keys and certificates of membership. But Phi Kappa Phi is considerably more than a gold key and an impressive addition to a résumé.

Phi Kappa Phi members enjoy many benefits, including the respect of family, friends, peers and employers. Members may participate in leadership positions at the chapter, regional and national levels, while conferences and conventions provide excellent opportunities to meet other members of this esteemed organization. Additionally, the society offers print and Internet publications to its members, while the national Web site offers a letters of recommendation section, and Web-based seminars addressing educational and career-based topics.

Through Phi Kappa Phi’s Web site, which will introduce a number of new features in 2005, members have access to even more services and products. The Career Center will offer an expanded resumé posting center with job-search capabilities. You will have access to student and alumni profiles, and an “Ask the Expert” message board. These services accompany a new, streamlined look intended to improve navigation and make these member benefits easy to explore, so be sure to visit the national site often.
