Clinical Trials
The Pediatric Clinical Trials Office provides assistance to physicians in the department that are interested in participating in NIH and pharmaceutical-funded clinical trials.
Services provided by this office include the following:
- Marketing
- Site set up
- Contract negotiation
- Budget development and monitoring
- Initial IRB submission
- Matching study coordinators to investigators needing
support
- Clinical coordinator training
These services are available to all pediatric faculty and staff
members.
Senior faculty members can obtain assistance with already identified
studies or have the clinical trials office locate potential studies
in their areas of interest. Junior faculty members that are interested in obtaining clinical
trials experience can be assigned to projects as sub-investigators.
Private practice physicians are welcome to refer patients for participation.
