Pediatric Surgical Services
Pediatric Surgery
In pediatric surgery, the Children’s Medical Center provides
diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care for a wide range of pediatric
surgical patients. Our services span from correcting birth defects
to the treatment of adolescent trauma victims. Many of our surgical
services can be handled as same-day outpatient procedures. To
help children prepare for the hospital experience, our child life
specialists meet with the family and explain what to expect on
the day of surgery and during the post-operative period.
