The Virginia Project for Children and Young Adults with Deaf-Blindness (Virginia Deaf-Blind Project) at Virginia Commonwealth University, in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Education, is pleased to announce a unique professional development opportunity to help build local capacity and enhance individual’s skills in assisting student’s who are deaf-blind. Paraprofessionals and Teacher Assistants who are currently working a student with deaf-blindness and between the ages of birth to 22 will be selected by the Virginia Deaf-Blind Project to participate.
