| This project will train a sample of job coaches in Virginia to use PDAs to assist with work reentry interventions for 25 individuals with cognitive disability. Face-to-face and web-based training workshops will be offered to a sample of DRS staff and job coaches. Attendees will learn how to use a PDA-based task management software developed by Ablelink Technologies, Inc. to create audio-visual prompting scripts for on-the-job activities. | ||
| Job coaches will then trial this intervention with at least 25 clients who have cognitive disability. Outcomes will be measured to determine whether the PDA-based intervention improves functional performance and/or reduces the need for on-site job coaching. | ||
| If you are interested in participating in this trial, please contact project director Tony Gentry. | ||
