Consortium for Handheld Technology
Bridging Portable Computer Technology to Individuals with Cognitive Disability.
![]() |
Through a community services grant from the Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative, we are researching innovative uses for handheld computers as assistive technology. Our team trains individuals with acquired brain injury or an autism spectrum disorder to use these devices in performing everyday life tasks. We continue to enroll participants from all over the Commonwealth of Virginia. We welcome your inquiries. Also, see our new project that will trial pda-based job coaching interventions for individuals with cognitive impairment! |
