Directions

The main entrance is on 7th Street. The accessible entrance for individuals with disabilities is on the north side of East Franklin Street between 7th and 8th Streets (middle of block, approximately) marked "700 Centre." Upon entering the building, follow the hallway to the left to the older section of the building, closest to 7th Street, and take the elevator to the 10th floor.

Traveling From North (Washington, Fredericksburg, etc.):

• Take I-95 South to
• Exit 75 - 3rd Street/I-64 East
• Bear to the right on the exit ramp
• Continue on 3rd Street to the second light (Leigh Street); turn left onto Leigh Street
• Go 5 blocks to 8th Street (first traffic light); turn right onto 8th Street
• Go 4-1/2 blocks (crossing Grace Street) to 700 Centre Public Parking on the right

Traveling From South (North Carolina, Petersburg, etc.)

• Take I-95 North to
• Exit 74A - Downtown Expressway (I-195)
• Travel approximately 1/2 mile to Canal Street exit, bearing to the right
• Take Canal Street exit (exact change toll, $0.50)
• Go 2 blocks to 9th Street; turn right onto 9th Street
• At fourth light, turn left onto East Grace Street
• Go 1 block to 8th Street; turn left onto 8th
• 700 Centre Public Parking on the right

Traveling From East (Airport, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, etc.)

• Take I-64 West to
• Exit 190 - 5th Street and Downtown/Coliseum
• At third traffic light, turn left onto Broad Street
• Go 3 blocks to 8th Street, turn right onto 8th Street
• Go 1-1/2 blocks (crossing Grace Street) to 700 Centre Public Parking on the right

Traveling From West (Charlottesville, I-81, etc.)

• Take I-64 East to merge with I-95 South
• Follow directions for "Traveling From North"

Parking - The 700 Centre Public Parking deck serves the 700 Centre and is directly north of the building. The deck's entrance is on 8th Street between East Grace Street and East Franklin Street. Parking rate is $2.50/hour up to $10.00 maximum.
