Located in the heart of Glasgow, one of Europe’s coolest cultural cities, the Glasgow School of Art is a creative and stimulating place to study. Education revolves around studio time, face-to-face, socially engaging and professionally relevant experiences. Entangling three schools - design, fine art and architecture - GSA creates a highly charged creative environment that will help students realize their own potential.
Curriculum: At the Glasgow School of Art, students can apply to one of several departments, such as ceramics, textiles, silver-smithing and jewelry, drawing and painting, environmental art, printmaking, fine art photography or sculpture. Students spend four days a week within the studio of their specialty. Studio time consists of tutorials, critiques, seminars, project briefs (both individual and group), workshops and visiting lectures. Students’ final day each week is spent within the Department of Historical and Critical Studies.

At the end of their stay a student will receive a transcript of their work from both their studio discipline and the Department of Historical and Critical Studies.
