MCVH New Employee Safety Orientation

The safety awareness orientation is part of the two day Human Resources Orientation and is required for all new MCVH employees.  the class includes an overview of the MCV Environments of Care, basic fire safety, chemical safety or Employee Right-to-Know, a standard precautions presentation from the Epidemiology Department and a personal safety presentation from the VCU Police.

New employees will receive important safety materials and forms to bring back to their supervisor including the Employee Right-to-Know statement, and a unit specific test.  These items are to be maintained in the employee's file.

New Employee Orientation is held twice per month and is scheduled through the MCV Employment office.  If you have any questions or need to re-schedule a new employee for orientation you may contact that office at 628-0918.
