Comments:
    My primary duty at VCU is to assist research and clinical laboratories in maintaining OSHA health and safety compliance as part of the Chemical and Biological Safety Section of OEHS. I conduct annual laboratory inspections as well as review and approve Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) protocols for the use of chemical, biological, and/or recombinant DNA hazards for the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Please contact me if you need assistance or have questions concerning the use of chemical, biological, and/or recombinant DNA hazardous materials in your laboratory. My additional duties are to assist my co-workers with chemical monitoring, hazardous waste disposal, and respirator fit-testing.
