    Chemical and biological safety issues in laboratories.

Comments:
    My primary duty at VCU is to assist laboratories in maintaining OSHA health and safety compliance as part of the Chemical and Biological Safety Section of OEHS.  I conduct annual laboratory inspections and respond to chemical spills.  Additionally, I assist my co-workers in chemical monitoring, hazardous waste disposal, and respirator fit-testing.  Please contact me if you need assistance or have any questions on chemical use in your laboratory.
