Three teleconferencing rooms in the basement of Cabell Library are available for use by instructors. The rooms are designed to assist faculty who have occasional need for media in their lectures. Faculty who require media in every lecture should work with their deans to arrange assignment to a University classroom that can accomodate these needs.

The Cabell Multimedia Rooms will be scheduled in the order in which reservations are received. They may be reserved by visiting the MSS office in Room B-40 of Cabell or by calling 828-1098.

Select a room for more information on its capabilities and capacity.

Use Policies

  1. The Cabell rooms are intended as a class meeting space for instructors whose regularly assigned rooms do not have AV equipment. They are not for use as student organization meeting space or as study rooms. Student use requires the presence of an instructor.
  2. Food and drinks are not allowed except when catered by ARA Food Services or other professional vendors. MSS staff should be notified whenever food or drinks are used in a room.

For more information, call 828-1098 or email us directly.
