W. Scott Street proposes to develop a set of tutorials, examples and activities that will incorporate applets, video, and audio components as well as static images and pages.
Some of the topics to be entertained are: (1) simple and multiple linear regression, (2) categorical data analysis, (3) analysis of variance, (4) multiple comparison of means.

Randy Sleeth proposes to extend and integrate components of a new course in Project Management to provide web-based learning experiences with wide applicability.
He envisions a seven-part project to add features that will expand interactivity and prepare his course for a web-based distance education environment.

C. James Meyer proposes to produce an instructional CD with video clips of processes emphasized in basic level jewelry courses.
His intent to afford all students to view these processes up close and in detail. They can also be viewed repeatedly.

R. Kevin Mallinson proposes to use Blackboard as an on-line management tool for the integration of multimedia instructional modules that deal with the nurse's role in caring for persons at the end-of-life.
Modules will be developed to address the nurse's role in (1) communication, (2) symptom management, (3) legal and ethical issues, (4)spirituality, (5) pain management, and (6) grief and bereavement.

Diane K. Lowman proposes to design a distance education course that deals with information, resources and recertification for professionals working with children with disabilities ages birth to five years.
This will be a multiuniversity collaborative effort to train personnel across disciplines.

Renée de Kruif proposes to locate and develop web-based materials to support case-base instruction used in the coursework for students from a variety of disciplines who are being trained to provide services to young children with disabilities.
The ultimate outcome will be a web site that supports instruction through the use interactive case stories, links to other web sites, listservs, team-based chat groups and mentor-protégé sites.
The web site will be designed to introduce students to the field of early intervention and the team work skills required for effective service delivery.

Al Copolillo proposes to introduce video and audio streaming technologies into the web-based and distance learning comonents of two occupational therapy courses.
He will incorporate current, realistic, case vignettes throughout, which will provide a mechanism for the observatioin of clients performing activities in natural environments and will further enhance problem-based learning through the use of interactive and audio technologies.

The intent with disk-based content delivery is to overcome the bandwith problem associated with video and audio on the Internet.
