Research interest: Molecular pathogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma, including: 1) understanding cell cycle progression and its integration with cell surface receptor signaling pathways, 2) identification and characterization of genes that induce or repress invasion and metastasis and, 3) identification of genes whose products may represent novel diagnostic/prognostic markers, and targets for molecular therapy of cancer.
