Students admitted into the Ph.D.
in Integrative Life Sciences have a variety of academic
backgrounds, reflecting the broad scope of research possibilities
across the life sciences at VCU. Students integrate their
backgrounds in the disciplines of biology, chemistry, computer
science, bioinformatics, the biomedical and environmental
sciences or engineering into demanding and rewarding programs
that can be tailored to their research interests.
