Celebrating 10 years in minimally invasive surgery, doctors at the Surgery Center are forever changing the nature of surgery. With the help of scopes and imaging equipment, doctors from the VCU Medical Center are performing surgeries that used to require large incisions, resulting in longer recovery periods and scarring.

Today, by using minimally invasive surgical techniques, the doctors at the Surgery Center have shortened hospital stays and recovery time and decreased postoperative pain and scarring.

Our doctors are on the forefront of minimally invasive surgery, applying the latest techniques and the most advanced technology to all types of surgeries.

But no matter what type of surgery the doctors are performing, the goal of the Surgery Center is always the same - to get you back to your life quicker than ever.

Please explore our site using the menu at top and left, to learn more about the Surgery Center and how we may be able to help you get on with life.

For answers to questions about procedures or health issues be sure to visit the Patient Education Center.
