MIS Mission

The Minimally Invasive Surgery Center promotes the advancement of patient care through research and development of technology and procedures.

The Surgery Center:

Enhances health care delivery, diagnosis and treatment through collaboration, integration and patient education.

Has established technologically advanced operating room facilities.

Has implemented telemedicine using state-of-the-art video imaging and storage, computer, and telecommunications technology.

Developed protocol guidelines for telemedicine regarding patient care and confidentiality.

Developed clinical practice guidelines that use proven techniques to standardize care and apply best practices to minimize complications and hasten hospital discharge.

Analyzes and evaluates outcomes, patient satisfication, cost and other related initiatives.

Establish credentialing guidelines.
