International Symposium on Novel Materials: From Clusters to Nano-structuresProf. P. Jena of VCU and Prof. A. W. Castleman of Penn State had organized this international symposium in Jekyll Island, GA during June 3-6, 2002. Forty one scientists from 11 countries had participated and had given lectures on topics of their research. The atmosphere was leisurely and permitted opportunity for interaction at all levels as the afternoons were left open.
