Language and Identity Lecture Series

This spring we continue our year-long lecture series, Language & Identity: Word, Sound and Image, featuring notable guests from all areas of International Studies, including an international evening of poetry with author Edward Hirsch.

Interested in Study Abroad?

Study abroad programs offer opportunities for short-term immersion in the language and culture of other countries. Currently, programs are available to Canada, Guatamala, Spain and Italy, and through the European Heritage Institute, Austria and France. VCU is a member of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) which offers a junior year abroad at one of 40 universities worldwide. Exchange Programs such as the MBA exchange with a French Business School in Marseilles, opened to students combining studies in foreign languages and business, will allow you to gain more knowledge in your field while discovering fascinating places (France, Argentina, others...).
