Lou Garcia is the administrative coordinator and office manager for the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute. As the Institute’s administrative coordinator, her primary responsibilities include providing administrative and clerical support to the Institute head and director. She also is responsible for office management, supervision of work-study students and fiscal management, and serves as technology technical assistant for the office.

Ms. Garcia currently is pursuing her undergraduate degree at VCU in the area of urban planning and studies with a minor in real estate and land development. She is fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese. Her special interest includes reading history books. She currently is writing a book about her birthplace, Cuba.
