The Department of Family Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center believes in the importance of comprehensive lifetime care for residents throughout the commonwealth of Virginia. This commitment is carried through our medical education and residency programs, in which our faculty and local doctors instruct the next generation of family medicine physicians using advanced techniques and hands-on training. In addition, our research team is looking to the future, exploring new and innovative ways to treat our patients.
