About the series
Science, Reason and Faith is a lecture series featuring some of the world’s most prominent and engaging scientists, philosophers and theologians.
The speakers will address several important questions at the nexus of science, reason and faith: Is Intelligent Design a genuine scientific theory? What
is our place in the universe? Is it reasonable to believe in God? Can science tell us whether prayer works? Do our genes hold evidence for belief?
Are God and evolution compatible? Open online discussions will continue the conversation after each event.

Goals
- To re-introduce the discussion of large and deep questions about human life into the university setting.
- To help introduce some degree of sophistication into issues which are much discussed in our public life, but usually without a good sense of the difficulties that lie beneath them.
- To provide a forum for the education of our own students.
