Dr. Ahmad joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in September 2008. He completed his Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. This was followed by a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Skull Base Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
His main clinical interests include head and neck tumors and surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, skull base surgery, microvascular surgery, and MOHS reconstructive surgery. His practice also encompasses general otolaryngology, laryngology and the care of the professional voice, and endoscopic sinus surgery. His research interests include microvascular surgery & physiology.
